Estate Planning
The Team
In order to properly plan your estate, regardless
of size, you need to consult a number of professional advisors
–
Financial Planner:
A financial planner is equally as important when you have
a large estate, as when you are starting out. Unless you are
versed in the different types of markets and the risks, a
financial planner can help you develop a plan to reduce your
current debt, save for your retirement and create a legacy
for your loved ones.
Tax Consultant:
A tax consultant can advise you throughout the year, not just
on April 15th. Tax consultants can help you determine ways
to reduce your tax liability as well as help you estimate
your annual tax bill. For larger estates, tax consultants,
along with your financial planner and lawyer, can help you
to determine what if any estate or gift taxes your estate
will have to pay, and develop ways to reduce that amount.
Lawyer: Once you,
your financial planner and tax consultant have developed a
plan, your lawyer will draft the documents necessary to put
your plan into effect.
