Elder Law
Estate Planning:
In some respects, Elder Law is a subset of Estate
Planning, which looks at how clients will specifically
plan for and address issues that come up after they reach
retirement. For the most part, most financial plans have two
primary goals: how to pay for education for your children
and how to live comfortably in retirement. Few plans and few
people look at what happens if either one or both spouses
become incapacitated or require long-term care. Does you plan
cover these contingencies? Do you have the proper documents
in place to give someone else the permission and ability to
make medical decisions on your behalf in the event that you
cannot make them? What about financial decisions? With proper
Estate Planning, we can prepare for you the legal documents
to ensure that person you choose has all the necessary documents
to carry out your wishes.
